The Red Deer Regional Hospital Intensive Care Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing services to patients and families in a critical care setting. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of patients. This role involves critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, teaching, counseling, and advocating for patients and families. The successful candidate will play a leadership role in patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.

Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited nursing education program
Active or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
2 years acute care Medical/surgical or ICU experience
Excellent computer and communication skills
Willingness to learn new skills through Professional Development activities
Ability to work shifts and meet physical job requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree in nursing
Relevant skills and experience in nursing practice
