Description:

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations, ensuring their safety and well-being. Utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, you will teach, counsel, and advocate for patients and families. Your role will involve supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance, while delivering safe, quality, patient, and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize nursing processes to provide a variety of nursing services
  • Teach, counsel, and advocate for patients and families
  • Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care
  • Deliver safe, quality, patient, and family-centered care
  • Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
  • Minimum (1) year employment as a registered nurse in acute care in the last (3) years
  • Strong communication skills, both written and orally
  • Preferred qualifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale, Connect Care trained, and completion of a Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training course
