Your exciting opportunity to become a Registered Nurse (RN) of a General Medicine Unit at Chinook Regional Hospital. The candidate for 4C is one who has a strong interest in acute medicine. We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our unit that truly believes in patient and family-centered care as well as working on a unit that strives to be supportive, caring, and fun. 4C is a 34-bed medical unit specializing in the care of acute medicine patients. A candidate who can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide patient and family-focused nursing care is required, working to the full scope of practice with critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level, and AHS policies and procedures and supported with the education required for the role. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. New grads are welcome to apply.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes through critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, as well as teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance. You will provide safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values. PLEASE NOTE: Provisional Permit holders will be paid $40.76 to $55.79 per hour. Upon obtaining a full practice permit, the rate of pay will be adjusted to the applicable Registered Nurse rate in accordance with UNA Article 25.02(b)(i) or (ii), as applicable.
