EFW Radiology is seeking two individuals for a Casual Registered Nurse position to work within the Maternal Fetal Medicine clinics in Southern Alberta. The Registered Nurse will report to the Nursing Manager and provide family-centered nursing care to expectant families. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and triaging the needs of expectant mothers/families, educating patients on pregnancy-related tests, offering telephone support, administering non-stress tests, and providing patient teaching and counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and triage the needs of expectant mothers/families

Educate patients on pregnancy-related tests

Offer telephone support to patients and healthcare workers

Administer non-stress tests and provide patient teaching

Deliver exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Adhere to privacy and confidentiality policies

Administer medications and supervise patient reactions

Undertake other assigned duties

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience

Active professional registration in Alberta with no limitations

Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

Experience in perinatal or obstetrical nursing

Organizational skills and ability to multitask

Motivated self-starter with a family-centered philosophy

Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting
