Humber River Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Medical Imaging Department on a temporary full-time basis. The position involves various responsibilities in Medical Imaging, including patient preparation, pacemaker studies, and patient recovery post-procedure. The nurse will collaborate with a diverse team of technologists, radiologists, and clerical staff, as well as external interprofessional teams. The successful candidate must hold current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have previous experience in special procedures in Radiology, CT, Interventional Radiography, Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, Prep Recovery, Nuclear Medicine, and Cardiology. ICU, Operating Room, Emergency Room, Recovery Room, and/or Critical care experience is preferred. Other qualifications include BCLS certification, ECG interpretation proficiency, IV therapy initiation skills, and patient assessment abilities. The nurse must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, patient/family teaching skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care values.
