This program is designed for recent Registered Nurse graduates looking to launch their careers in either urban or rural settings. The 12-month program consists of two phases: an Enhanced Orientation phase where you will work with a Clinical Guide to develop a personalized learning plan, and an Independent Practice with Support phase where you will have access to a mentor for ongoing support.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in this role, you will provide a wide range of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations while ensuring their safety and well-being. You will utilize critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as play a leadership role in supporting holistic patient care. Provisional Permit holders will be paid $39.58 - $54.16 per hour, with adjustments upon obtaining a full license.

After transitioning to independent practice, you will be required to apply for available vacant positions of no less than 0.5 FTE in a similar practice setting, ideally within the same unit, program, site, or office.Description: As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and wellbeing. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes, through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making, as well as teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and their families.
