Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program.

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.

Eligibility for Graduate Nurses, Graduate Psychiatric Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Registered Psychiatric Nurses who have graduated within 12 months prior to the program start date and have not yet obtained a regular position with AHS, Covenant Health, or Recovery Alberta.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Interested in orthopedics on a fast-paced inpatient unit where time management is essential.

This isn't about hitting the ground running. It's about growing into your role with the support you deserve. After transitioning to independent practice, you will be required to apply for available vacant positions of no less than 0.5 FTE in a similar practice setting, ideally within the same unit, program, site, or office.
