The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of the Department Manager and Team Lead. They will participate in continuing education to maintain competence and skills, actively participate in the CNO Quality Assurance Program, and contribute to a safe and healthy patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality nursing care within the Standards of Nursing Practice
Participate in service and hospital-wide activities and programs
Maintain competence through ongoing education
Actively participate in the CNO Quality Assurance Program
Contribute to a safe and healthy patient-centered environment
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse BScN and current member in good standing of the Ontario College of Nurses of Ontario
2 years of Caseroom and postpartum experience required
IV and BCLS certification required and maintained throughout employment
Computer literacy mandatory
Demonstrated competence in nursing practice as a Registered Nurse
Strong interpersonal, assessment, and organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Competence in computers and other job-related technology
