Description:

Halton Region is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join their team at the Post Inn Village Long Term Care Facility in Oakville. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established standards and contribute to the assessment and documentation of residents' health status. They will also assist in the development and implementation of care plans, administer medication, and participate in Quality Improvement and Risk Management activities.

As a member of the nursing and personal care team, the nurse will provide direction and support to front line staff, communicate effectively with residents, families, and physicians, and act as a resident advocate. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple demands, and a commitment to the Residents' Bill of Rights and Compliance Standards.
