WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides respiratory therapy services to patients in various hospital departments.
Assisting with airway management, responding to emergencies, administering medications, and performing bedside tests.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
Post-secondary diploma/degree in Respiratory Therapy
Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
Certifications in Neonatal resuscitation and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical ventilation
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Commitment to continuing education and patient safety
Physical ability to perform job duties
WHAT WE PREFER YOU TO HAVE:
Two (2) years acute care experience
HOURS:
Must be available for all applicable shifts and flexible to changes
