Description:

Relief Addiction and Mental Health Worker position is available at Nicole's Choice and Holly's House in London, Ontario. The role involves providing stable, independent housing and support to women experiencing homelessness and mental health or addiction concerns. Candidates must be available 7 days a week for all shift coverage.

Successful applicants need to have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed in the last six months. The starting rate for the role is $27.14 per hour, with potential wage differentials based on professional registration. Relief shifts will be offered during various times, and staff will commit to a minimum of four shifts per month. Eligibility for the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan is immediate.

Key Responsibilities:

Applicants must have a degree or diploma in social science, experience in addiction and mental health, a driver's license, and regular attendance. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, crisis intervention skills, and bilingualism.
