As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will assess patients, develop care plans, monitor progress, manage diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, and collaborate with clinical teams to enhance outcomes. You will provide training for healthcare providers, educate patients and families on diseases, medications, equipment, and treatments.

Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CRTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.

Current BLS certification.

Minimum 1 year independent clinical Respiratory Therapy experience in an acute care hospital setting within the last 2 years.

Ability to manage competing priorities, exercise independent decision-making, resolve conflicts, and promote a healthy work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Independent RRT acute care experience in ICU, ER, Wards, NICU, Outreach.

NRP/PALS/ACLS/CRE/CTE/CAE certification/instructor.

Professional development courses within the last 2 years.

Participation in healthcare committees or working groups.

Health-related degree.

CSRT membership.

Charge experience.

RGH site orientation.

Required Qualifications:
