Description:

Under the general direction of ACH Respiratory Therapy manager, this Respiratory Therapist III - supervisory position requires an expert clinician, highly self-motivated and organized individual with progressive ideas and energetic leadership qualities. As the Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for fostering, facilitating, and achieving the highest standards of evidence-based and patient-centered care in accordance with the philosophy of AHS. You will provide clinical expertise, leadership, mentorship, and the enhancement of respiratory therapy care in various clinical areas. In addition to diagnostic and therapeutic care duties, you will oversee daily staffing levels, operation of respiratory therapists, and act as a liaison for staff, physicians, and students. You should have excellent computer skills, effective communication, and experience in change management and quality improvement.

As a Respiratory Therapist III, you will mentor, promote standards of practice, respond to clinical questions, and coordinate ongoing skill and student development within your team. Collaboration with managers and supervisors in providing access to continuing education and professional development programs is essential.
