Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a meticulous Clinical Reviewer Proofer Registered Nurse in Jericho, NY. The position involves completing activities related to Utilization or Quality reviews, supporting Medical Review Analysts and Physician Consultants to ensure an appropriate and accurate process.

Qualifications:

• Education: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or graduate of an approved Registered Professional Nurses training program and licensed in NY.
• Licensure: Active NY State RN license.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an acute care facility and 1 to 3 years in acute care utilization review.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of electronic medical records, coding, quality, and clinical charting.
• Soft Skills: Ability to problem solve, work collaboratively, excellent written and verbal skills, and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct utilization reviews and make level one denial decisions when necessary.
• Conduct quality and clinical study data collection reviews.
• Act as a resource for administrative staff, provide technical assistance, and participate in staff huddles.
• Participate in training specific to clinical study objectives.
• Other necessary activities.
