Key Responsibilities:
Lead civil design projects for hydro, substations, renewable energy infrastructure, and industrial facilities.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate technologists.
Prepare and review technical documents, reports, and calculations.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients and project teams.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments.
Review vendor drawings and specifications.
Assist in preparing proposals and estimates.
Ensure designs incorporate sustainable solutions.
Maintain knowledge of industry codes and standards.
Work in a safe manner and report any health and safety concerns.
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other design software.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand as required.
Frequent use of hands and fingers.
Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
Majority of work in a professional office setting.
Periodic travel may be required.
