This job opportunity is located in Downtown Toronto, ON, requiring fluency in English for strong written and verbal communication. The position is for a duration of 12 months, with a rotational schedule of 5 days per week between Monday and Sunday, working hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., including statutory holidays.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage front-desk reception, greeting patients, visitors, and suppliers.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and address urgent matters promptly.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, confirmations, referrals, and counseling bookings.
  • Enter new patients into clinical systems and maintain accurate patient charts.
  • Support daily clinical operations by preparing sign-up sheets, procedure labels, and sorting lab reports.
  • Handle administrative workflows including mail, faxes, courier deliveries, billing, and office supply inventory.
  • Participate in training new staff and contribute to a supportive team environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare administrative setting.
  • Post-secondary education in administration, business, or office management is an asset.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask, assess urgency, and remain calm under pressure.
  • A self-directed, compassionate professional who excels in a team-based environment.
