Description:

Acute care unit at our hospital serves a variety of patients, including adults, pediatric, post-surgical, obstetric, post-partum, newborn, and stable uniformed mental health patients. The Operating Room/Day Surgery department is expanding, offering services such as Surgery/Endoscopy and Specialty Clinics. This position provides a unique opportunity to begin a rewarding career in a combined role with Acute Care and OR/Day Surgery as a Service Worker I.

As a Service Worker I, your responsibilities will include transporting patients and equipment between different care areas within the hospital, distributing and restocking supplies, cleaning equipment and patient care areas, and transporting lab specimens, blood products, and patient charts. You will be expected to communicate any concerns about supplies or safety to Unit Managers and perform additional duties as needed.
