Pharma Medica Research (PMRI) Inc. is seeking a part-time Nurse for their PMRI Clinic in Scarborough, Ontario. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the health and safety of volunteers during clinical studies. This role reports to the Manager, Clinical Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the health and safety of subjects by performing various health assessments.
Handle investigational product-related activities under supervision.
Maintain records of investigational product delivery, inventory, and use.
Administer investigational products and explain correct usage to subjects.
Communicate and address volunteers' health concerns.
Maintain emergency drugs and supplies in the clinic.
Oversee clinical activities to ensure protocol compliance.
Perform screening procedures according to protocol requirements.
Assist in training other clinic employees.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse license registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Intern nurse practice experience at a minimum.
Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
ACLS certification is an additional asset.
Basic computer proficiency.
