Peak ABA Services in Brampton is seeking Supervised Instructor Therapists and Lead Therapists to train staff in creating and implementing Daily Activity Schedules. The ideal candidates should be passionate about the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and dedicated to providing high-quality services.

Job responsibilities Supervised Instructor Therapist:

Provide direct ABA instruction and track data

Graph and summarize data

Assist with training material preparation

Participate in team meetings

Communicate effectively with children, families, and supervisors

Update and maintain binders

Job responsibilities Supervised Lead/Instructor Therapist:

Participate in at least 10 hours of Instructor Therapist work per week

Available to work weekends and late evenings

Instruct staff on data collection methods

Coach and support staff in professional behavior and communication

Offer guidance for ongoing improvement in clinical practices

Complete fidelity and treatment-integrity checks and report outcomes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Diploma in Applied Behaviour Science (mandatory)

Degree in psychology/ABA and diploma in Applied Behavioural Science

RBT certification preferred

Experience in ABA Settings required

RBT credentials from BACB or working towards it

Other requirements include the ability to travel to assigned cases, lift 10 pounds regularly, and sit on the floor for extended periods. Benefits include a flexible schedule and on-site parking. The rate is based on experience, with expected hours of 15-25 per week.

Provide direct ABA instruction according to the program plan. outlined by the Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and tracking data.
 Graphing and summarizing data for review.
 Able to play with kids and a fun person.
 Assist with preparation of training material.
 Participation in team meetings.
 Excellent communication skills with children, family members, and supervisor.
 Passionate about helping children and families, and providing services of the highest standards.
 Passionate about the field of ABA is must.
 Updating and maintaining binders.

Job responsibilities Supervised Lead/Instructor Therapist

Able to participate at least 10 hours per week of Supervised Instructor therapist work.
 Must be available to work on weekends and late evenings until 7 pm and some mornings starting 8:30 am.
 Instructs staff on accurate data collection methods, including participation data, AntecedentBehaviourConsequence (ABC) data and skill acquisition programs.
 Coaches and supports staff, modelling professional behaviour, effective communication, and conflictresolution skills.
 Offers guidance and recommendations to promote ongoing improvement in clinical practices.
 Completes fidelity and treatmentintegrity checks to assess staff fidelity with Behaviour reduction plan and Skill Acquisition program plans and reports outcomes to the Clinical Supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Diploma in Applied Behaviour Science. ( Mandatory)
 Degree in psychology/ABA and diploma in Applied Behavioural Science.
 RBT is preferred.
 Willing to complete RBT 40 hours course.
 Experience in ABA Settings is must.At least 1 year full time or equivalent is mandatory\
 Holds RBT credentials from BACB or working towards it.

Other requirements

Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving a personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
 The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
 The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods.
