Description:

Our Health Care Operations department is seeking a Technical Rules Analyst to ensure timely referrals-to-treatment for injured workers and accurate payments to their caregivers. This role involves shaping the billing experience for health care providers and translating complex business policies into clear technical rules. The Analyst will analyze health care and claims data to recommend improvements and enhance payment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, analyze, and maintain business rules based on requirements
  • Lead working committees to implement rule changes
  • Analyze data to identify gaps and recommend improvements
  • Support the implementation of rule changes
  • Develop communication strategies for rule changes
  • Provide input into contract negotiation and proposed service delivery changes
  • Consult on projects and provide work direction
  • Qualifications:

  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate activities effectively
  • Understand and communicate business and technical information clearly
  • Apply project management techniques
  • Present data using MS Excel and Word
  • Background and Experience:

  • Degree in business administration or related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience in analysis
  • Healthcare experience is an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
