FortisBC, the province's largest energy provider, is seeking a Technologist 3 -- Electrical Distribution Design to join their team. This role involves developing, designing, and installing overhead and underground electric distribution designs with technical guidance.

Responsibilities include project management, power line design, equipment specification, protective coordination, and ensuring compliance with all legislated acts, codes, and standards. The Technologist will also be responsible for selecting safe and economic line routes, preparing detailed engineering drawings, and coordinating project progress.

Requirements for this position include a recognized post-secondary technologist diploma in Electrical Engineering Technologist, five years of relevant experience, advanced knowledge of computer systems, and excellent communication skills. A valid British Columbia Driver's license is also required.
