We are seeking a User Experience Researcher who is resourceful, self-motivated, and passionate about advocating for users. This individual should be up-to-date on current innovations and work well with a diverse group of colleagues. Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Build and maintain relationships with designers, product managers, and executives to determine research needs and timelines.
  • Plan research: Create research plans using appropriate quantitative/qualitative methods and participants to uncover actionable customer insights.
  • Prioritize opportunities: Work with UXR team and stakeholders to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Primary research: Independently conduct research, using methods such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, and web analytics, to explore user behaviors and pain points.
  • Analyze data: Analyze and synthesize user data, including data from production systems, to uncover actionable insights and make product design/strategy recommendations.
  • Socialize insights: Actively socialize research findings to diverse audiences, including executives, to guide product design and strategy decisions.
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, business and marketing, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Knowledge and competencies:

  • Best practices for user-centric design and UX/HCI research.
  • Experience in product and market research.
  • Deep understanding of different research methods and when to apply them during each product phase.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to analyze quantitative data effectively.
  • Able to work efficiently and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proactive mindset to improve products and processes.
  • Curiosity about people and desire to enhance their experience with products.
  • Experience:

  • 5+ years of full-time work experience in User and Market research.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Experience creating various research deliverables and artifacts.
  • Experience in user-centered research in the medtech or healthcare industry.
  • Bonus points for research experience in enterprise software, mobile, global, or SaaS companies.
