We are seeking a User Experience Researcher who is resourceful, self-motivated, and passionate about advocating for users. Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders: Build and maintain relationships with designers, product managers, and executives to determine research needs and timelines.
Plan research: Create research plans using appropriate quantitative/qualitative methods and participants to uncover actionable customer insights.
Prioritize opportunities: Work with UXR team and stakeholders to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Primary research: Independently conduct research, using methods such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, and web analytics, to explore user behaviors and pain points.
Analyze data: Analyze and synthesize user data, including data from production systems, to uncover actionable insights and make product design/strategy recommendations.
Socialize insights: Actively socialize research findings to diverse audiences, including executives, to guide product design and strategy decisions.
Education:
Bachelor's or graduate degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, business and marketing, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
Knowledge and competencies:
Best practices for user-centric design and UX/HCI research.
Experience in product and market research.
Deep understanding of different research methods and when to apply them during each product phase.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to analyze quantitative data effectively.
Able to work efficiently and collaborate with diverse teams.
Proactive mindset to improve products and processes.
Curiosity about people and desire to enhance their experience with products.
Experience:
5+ years of full-time work experience in User and Market research.
Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Experience creating various research deliverables and artifacts.
Experience in user-centered research in the medtech or healthcare industry.
Bonus points for research experience in enterprise software, mobile, global, or SaaS companies.
