We are looking for a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This role is crucial as the first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to handle multiple administrative tasks efficiently. Experience in a veterinary or medical setting, especially with laboratory procedures, is a bonus. Responsibilities:
Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar effectively
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
Maintain accurate and organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
Process payments and handle billing procedures accurately
Coordinate laboratory sample collection and processing when necessary
Communicate with veterinary staff regarding patient updates and client needs
Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
Assist with inventory management of office supplies and laboratory materials
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate demeanor with clients and their pets
Basic knowledge of veterinary procedures is preferred; laboratory experience is a plus
Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, record keeping, and billing

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
