Clearpoint Health Network (CHN) is seeking a Medical Radiology Technologist (X-Ray technologist) to join their team at Maples Surgical Centre. This position involves operating radiology equipment, performing technical radiological examinations, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and producing high-quality diagnostic images for physician review.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of radiology equipment.

Follow safe operating procedures and radiation protection protocols.

Handle personal health information in compliance with privacy legislation.

Perform quality assurance activities and save images in medical records.

Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program.

Active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).

Previous experience with fluoroscopy in an operating room setting.

Ensure the radiology equipment and auxiliary equipment function correctly and are maintained properly.
 Follow documented safe operating procedures for the equipment.
 Practices effective radiation protection, infection control, and safety techniques as applicable.
 Handle all personal information and all personal health information according to the appropriate governing privacy legislation.
 Perform quality assurance and quality control activities according to equipment manufacturer's instructions and all applicable industry standards.
 Ensure all images are saved and filed in the appropriate medical record.
 Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications
