We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care in a professional environment.
Duties
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to ensure high-quality images.
Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
Capture clear and accurate diagnostic images for review by radiologists or physicians.
Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, including patient information and imaging results.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and cleaned regularly.
Assist in managing patient flow within the imaging department to optimize efficiency.
Follow all healthcare regulations and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
Certification as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program.
Knowledge of medical terminology and radiographic procedures.
Ability to operate X-ray equipment with precision and care.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients.
Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team.
