Shared Health is seeking a Youth Care Worker to join their team at the Compass Youth Program in Portage la Prairie. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring client safety and well-being, participating in client orientation and assessment processes, developing therapeutic interventions, delivering educational and support programming, and more. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to client-centered care, empathy, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years related experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment
Knowledge and experience in working with at-risk youth
High school education required, Child & Youth Care Certificate program completion desirable
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and ASSIST training desirable
Valid Class 5 driver's license and First Aid/CPR certification required
Skills:
Ability to work within an inter-disciplinary team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications
Fluency in English, knowledge of French/Indigenous languages an asset
