WoodGreen is seeking a Youth Mental Health Court Worker to provide assessment, referral, and case management for youth involved in the justice system. The position involves establishing linkages between the youth, the court, and community resources, as well as developing treatment plans and making recommendations to the Crown Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and experience working with adolescents in the youth justice system.
The responsibilities of the role include completing assessments, providing counseling, developing service plans, maintaining client records, and participating in team meetings and training sessions. The successful candidate will also need to have a Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Counseling, along with experience in mental health diagnosis and treatment. Strong communication, organizational, and networking skills are essential for this position.
